Meet one of the most intriguing figures in French history, my 12th great-grandmother, Diane de Poitiers. In her day, Diane was the most beautiful and most wealthy woman in France. Her story takes us back to the French Renassiance. It is the story of the most famous royal love triangle in the history of France and is full of romance and rivalry. Yet, she is a role model to woman of today.

If Diane de Poitiers had lived in the twenty-first century, she would have wanted to have a web site.

I have given her one...

It is wonderful to see so many visitors to this web site who have arrived here after an internet search. Every day, there are first-time searches on Diane de Poitiers. Or, perhaps you are a returning visitor. Either way, please use the link at the bottom of this page to send me an e-mail, tell you how are interested in Diane, ask a question or tell what you would like to see on this web site. Or, leave an entry in our Diane de Poitiers message board!

I am currently writing a book about Diane, her life and her style,
entitled "Diane de Poitiers: A Portrait in Black and White."
It will be available through all major book retailers within a year,
or it can be ordered through me. If you would like advanced notice of when it will be available,
just send me an e-mail!
